This dress is a typical “Day Dress” for an elderly Lady in Spain. Typically – she would tend to wear this kind of comfortable wear in the daytime at home, before she puts on her skirt and cardigan to gather with her friends for a little chat at the square in front of the village church in the evening.

I found it when visiting the early morning Rastrillo Market held in Guardamar / Spain one Sunday last spring.
